📜 Why pass-through?
- No markup —we don't resell broker access or data. The price you see in your broker dashboard is the price you pay.
- You hold the keys —your broker API keys live in your account, encrypted, scoped to your user. PirkTrader can't move funds we never custody.
- Exchange fees billed by your broker — real-time NYSE/Nasdaq/OPRA fees are billed by your broker per their published schedule. Most retail accounts qualify as "non-pro" ($1–$14/exchange/mo).
- Cancel any time — the PirkTrader bill stops the day you cancel. Broker / data subscriptions are managed by you, with the vendor.
What is the absolute minimum to trade live?
Pro plan ($29/mo) + Alpaca IEX feed (free). Live trading is gated to paid plans for compliance and risk reasons, but data and broker costs stay at $0 if you stick to free tiers.
Who is Team actually for?
RIAs, prop desks, and family-office analysts who need a defensible audit trail next to every trade idea. Shared workspace, per-seat audit IDs, signed JSON + CSV export for compliance.
Can I bring my own LLM API keys?
Every tier — including Free. Connect OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Groq, OpenRouter, Bedrock, and 5 more under /connections. When you BYO a key, your workflow quota becomes unlimited because we are not paying for your inference.
What happens if a data vendor raises prices?
You see it before we do — they bill you direct. We never mark up vendor pricing on your behalf.
